The blasé tech magnate, with at least a sloppy 235 billion in net worth, is urging the British to start a civil war. And fortunately, he is being ridiculed by many islanders. The richest man on earth managed to thwart a strategic Ukrainian military attack with drones last year with the push of a button. Musk: the uncontrollable instigator of actions that can substantially change society.

Grok, the chatbot of Elon Musk’s AI company, can take images. There seem to be few restrictions to prevent the presence or disparaging of images from contributing. Fake photos such as Barack Obama taking drugs are going viral on X. Musk is delighted. As far as he is concerned, X will be a place where fewer rules apply than anywhere else on the internet. Uncensored. Sad prospect…..

With 193 million followers on X, his antisocial medium full of filth, he is mercilessly on the loose. Fake news and conspiracy theories: the spread makes him even stronger. A fighter for freedom of speech, that’s how he sees himself.

From a born visionary, entrepreneur and high-tech nerd, to a vile fool and schemer?
All at your service, if it weren’t for the fact that his public responsibility requires better safeguarding of the public accountability that he must provide.
The shareholders’ meeting of the Musk empire is therefore unsuitable. Only private interests are safeguarded there.
Musk’s unbridled urge for influence and power requires political decisiveness.

Is there sufficient counteraction from the government? Can Europe sail on ‘helmsmen’ China and the US?
Apparently we trust ‘the’ institutions.
Are our robust democratic achievements safe there? Is the European Union strong enough to distribute democratic and constitutional values on its territory?

Meanwhile, an investigation is underway in which the European Commission is looking into whether X is sufficiently combating the spread of disinformation and other illegal content. According to European rules, it must be. European Commissioner Thierry Breton issued a public warning that he had sent to Musk. TechMusk was told that he is obliged to protect his platform from “expressions that spread hatred and chaos, incite violence, and certain forms of disinformation”.
Musk’s response was: “fuck your own face!”.
That clearly leaves nothing to be desired. Elon Musk does not let himself be said, behaves like a guided missile and confidentiality is a dangerous democrat.
So European Commission: power requires counter-power. Stop Musk. It must be done.
